The Suriname Electronic Single Window System aligns with the following strategic objectives of the Ministry of Economic Affairs, Entrepreneurship and Technological Innovation (EOTI), Suriname.

• To improve coordination & interoperability between government agencies,
• To improve transparency & enhanced security in government processes.
• The value of the ESW programme is both quantifiable as well as qualitative, with several strategic benefits to the Ministry of Economic Affairs, Entrepreneurship and Technological Innovation and the Government of Suriname as a whole.

The design and establishment of an ESW will improve efficiency in customs clearance procedures, improve business competitiveness, and expand trade facilitation activities at both the national and international levels.
